Bec Abbot Releases Second Album

Publish Date: Nov 11, 2005

Juno nominated and Covenant Award winning singer-songwriter Bec Abbot is set to release her second album Not So Hip with a CD release party on Sunday, November 27th.

The event will take place at The Gig at 30 Duke Street, Ontario Tower in Kitchener, Ontario. Admission is just $10 at the door. Dan Macaulay will be opening the evening with songs from his debut release Captured Again.

Through writing and performing, Abbot explores her life and faith simply and honestly. Caroly Arends has described Abbot’s music as “tasty and thoughtful, catchy and true, wildly creative pop music you can sink your teeth into.” In addition, Arends co-wrote the title track, played guitar and provided background vocals.
