GRAMMY® Award-winning vocal group Avalon greets legendary female recording artist Sandi Patty at the 2008 GRAMMY® Salute to Gospel Music held late last month at Lincoln Theatre in Washington D.C. The foursome performed “Another Time, Another Place” in tribute to Patty, who was among the evening’s honourees.
During their Washington, D.C. visit, Avalon is presented an appreciation plaque by chaplains Maj. William A. Jokela (far left) and Maj. Taz W. Randles (far right) at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The group performed for the Warrior Transition Brigade, which services more than 700 wounded warriors who are in various stages of healing.
New at Canadian Christian retailers are the Avalon Two For One CDs. For just $17.99, you get two full albums in one package, for one great price. Check them out at Avalon’s YMZ artist page.
