August Burns Red And StorySide:B Featured On HearItFirst.ca

Publish Date: Jun 08, 2007

This week’s premieres feature two sophomore releases.

Returning after their critically acclaimed debut Thrill Seeker, August Burns Red comes out with a dominating sophomore release, Messengers.

These Lancaster, PA youngsters have accomplished on their first two records what it takes most bands to do in a lifetime, combining the technical aspects of European Metal, the breakdowns of American Hardcore, and vocal stylings that leave no rock unturned in the Metal genre. When asked to compare the two records, guitarist J.B. Brubakker states, “The new record is along the lines of what we did on Thrill Seeker, but it’s faster, shreddier, and more riffs. We learned a lot since our last record and I think the songwriting and musicianship is a lot stronger.”

Produced by Tue Madsen (Extol, The Haunted, Becoming The Archetype), this record promises to be the most brutal, yet polished venture yet for the band.

There are two sides to every conversation. True commitment to a relationship requires honest listening; really hearing the voice of the other person. We Are Not Alone, the sophomore release from Gotee Records’ StorySide:B, comes from a heart devoted to hearing the voice of God without ever getting too busy to listen.

From the band’s conversation-starting first single, Tell Me What You Think Of God, to the encouragement of Sister and Be Still, StorySide:B’s flourishing songwriting and prior radio success has this band set on a path to strengthen the life of any new listener while reinforcing their relationship with current friends and fans.

Messengers will be spotlight priced at $17.99 or less for a limited time while We Are Not Alone will be specially priced at $17.99 or less at participating Canadian Christian retailers. Head over to HearItFirst.ca to hear these upcoming releases.
