Article One And MercyMe Featured On HearItFirst.ca

Publish Date: Apr 21, 2006

The name Article One comes from the first article in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights where it states, “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” They are a pop/rock band from London, Ontario who incorporates violin playing and three-part vocal harmonies in their music.

MercyMe’s Coming Up to Breathe is a powerful collection of songs that in some places rocks harder than the band ever has during their dozen years together. By “letting hair down”, the result is a veritable kaleidoscope of sounds and emotions from the exuberant celebration of the title track and the absolutely infectious song of surrender So Long Self to the sweeping epic Hold Fast

Both albums will be specially priced at $17.99 and will be available at Canadian Christian retailers next Tuesday. Head on over to HearItFirst.ca to give these albums a spin.
