Intermission to the Moon, the debut release from Tooth and Nail Record’s artist A Dream Too Late, appears in stores and online today. Produced by Steve Wilson (Jonezetta, Hawk Nelson), Intermission to the Moon draws from the band’s multi-faceted sonic strengths while drawing on lyrics that challenge the listener to dream their own big dreams. With the release of Intermission to the Moon, A Dream Too Late is allowing the band to live out their own.
“We are really excited to finally have this CD in stores. We recorded Intermission nearly year ago, and we have been anxiously waiting for a time when our fans can have the music to take home, and not just streaming online,” explains Reid Anderson, vocalist for the group. “We hope that kids can relate to the songs and will really see what the band is all about.”
A Dream Too Late has spent the last year playing dates throughout the country, touring with Run Kid Run, This Beautiful Republic, Falling Up and The Send. They are currently taking time off the road to do promotions for the new album before taking off on a west coast tour with The Send and Search The City in December, as well as the “5 for 5 Tour” in early 2008.
Currently new and active at radio, early reaction has been extremely positive. The video for the first single Intermission to the Moon will be released in the coming days and the band’s newly re-designed website and e-card launched on Tuesday. The media has also been quick to comment on the band’s unique and refreshing sound:
