28th Annual GMA Canada Covenant Awards Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets for the 28th Annual Covenant Awards are now available at YourTicketZone.com.

The awards will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2006 at Centre Street Church in Calgary, AB. This year, GMA Canada received over 500 submissions from Christian artists across Canada and will be presenting 52 awards at the Covenant Awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award to be presented to Connie Scott.

Confirmed performers for the awards ceremony include Starfield, downhere, Brian Doerksen, Carolyn Arends, Ali Matthews and Connie Scott.

The GMA week will commence with a worship event on Wednesday, October 25th featuring Brian Doerksen and a choir of Canadian Christian artists. Seminars and teaching tracks will be held Thursday, October 26th as part of the Canada Christian Music Conference including sessions by John Mays, VP of A&R for Centricity Records, Carolyn Arends, Brian Doerksen and his band.
