Elevate is a worship band fuelled by a heart for God. It combines innovative, original songs with an explosive guitar/drum-driven sound, and passionate, heartfelt worship. While aimed at the emerging generation, the profound faith expressed in Elevate’s songs and their intelligent style are being appreciated by an ever-expanding audience.
The five member group includes Briercrest College students and was founded by faculty member Ken Dosso. Ken Dosso is an experienced worship pastor, clinician, and published writer/arranger of over 40 titles with Abingdon Press, LifeWay, Shawnee, and Lorenz publishing houses. He is active as a worship leader and conference speaker. A native of Victoria, BC, he now resides in Saskatchewan where he teaches songwriting, music, and worship ministry at Briercrest College.
Elevate is one of several groups that are a part of the worship ministry training program at Briercrest College in Caronport, Saskatchewan. This diverse program is designed to mentor emerging worship leaders, songwriters, instrumentalists, and other performing artists whose goal is to minister through the arts.
