A family of world class musicians, the Annie Moses Band is made up of siblings Annie (24) on vocals and violin, Alex (21) on viola, Benjamin (19) on cello, Camille (17) on harp and piano and Gretchen (16) on mandolin and violin.

This Glorious Christmas, featuring original songs and Christmas favourites, is an eclectic blend of classical, jazz, folk and pop music that draws from the family’s musical journey from rural Oklahoma to the halls of the Juilliard School.

The Annie Moses Band’s newest offering is a breathtaking memorial of the coming of the Christ Child. From the unique syncopations of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen to the moving melodies of new hymns such as When The Christmas Baby Cries and Bethlehem, House Of Bread, the album is one of the Bands’ most spiritually minded recordings.

The title track, inspired by the literal meaning of the word Bethlehem, communicates the deep themes of Communion and Jesus’ place in the Kingdom as the Bread of Life. However, fun is far from absent on tunes like the banjo driven Christmas On Cripple Creek or the quick fiddlin’ of Jingle Bells.
