Jireh Gospel Choir

A Jireh concert is an exhilarating Gospel experience. Concerts are either uni-lingual (English) or bilingual (English and French). The style of music is black American Gospel and the repertoire includes original songs, cover songs from contemporary Gospel artists, and traditional classics like O Happy Day.

What does “Jireh” mean? “Jireh” means “Provider” in Hebrew. The Bible uses the name “Jehovah Jireh” for God in several places, meaning “God our Provider.” God has certainly provided for us, and whatever your situation, He is able to do the same for you.

Founded in 1996, the group has performed with Cirque Du Soleil and recorded 7 songs on the platinum-certified album Noel Avec Jireh Gospel Choir with popular Quebec artist Mario Pelchat.

Jireh’s first album, So Good was nominated for a Covenant Award and a Vibe Award for Best Urban/Soul Album Of The Year.
