Going through 19 of his classics, including a guest appearance from his wife June Carter Cash on Jackson, Cash gives a history lesson of sorts. At the time of the show, he had been recording for nearly 40 years, and he performs most of his biggest hits.

On July 27, 1990, Johnny Cash took his revue to the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, New Jersey and performed a truly unique and wonderful concert. The show was captured on multi-tracks that lay dormant until recently mixed and edited for this near hour-long CD.

Terrific performances of his greatest hits are featured, including I Walk The Line, Ring Of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues and many more.

A wonderfully upbeat Cash and wife June Carter Cash’s stories and introductions punctuate the music.

June Carter Cash also contributes a boisterous Jackson duet with Johnny and local songstress Lucy Clark duets on What Is Man. Lucy also performs the only recorded version anywhere of the classic Gospel song Wonderful Time Up There.
