Newfoundland and Labrador's Kellie Loder grabbed much media attention with her 2012 Juno Award nomination. The singer-songwriter's debut national release found herself in great company up against more established names like downhere and Jon Bauer.

With a blend of songs that span pop, folk and worship, Kellie describes has appeared on the main stage at YC Newfoundland and Labrador: "When I write, I write about where I am in my life. When others hear my songs, I think they appreciate the honesty and sincerity behind each and every word. There's a realness to my music that people can relate to, and I intend to keep it that way".
