Magellan is a Christian electronic worship artist, remixer, and performance DJ. While living in Europe for a season he was introduced to electronic music where he worked with several Christian artists who wanted to make music that impacted European culture. Seeing the electronic music revolution that was taking place there, he saw a unique opportunity to blend the electronic genre with what he knew about contemporary worship music.

"My desire is for this music to be adopted as a new worship experience in today's ever-evolving church. I feel that we are to be leaders and visionaries, and the Dream Lab label affords us that opportunity by doing something that no one else is doing in our industry. Plus, I believe it's only a matter of time before the electronica genre is more widely embraced in the mainstream culture in the U.S.," says Magellan.

Magellan's newest album, Worship Revolutions Mix 1 was released in early February 2009. This is his most anticipated release so far based on the response he had spinning these tracks last fall on the SHOUTFEST tour.

"To see the crowds moving and worshiping to these remixes in a live setting was absolutely thrilling for me. To feel the energy and freedom of the crowd confirmed that people everywhere were ready to embrace this new form of worship and expression," he says of his experience on the tour.

Worship Revolutions is a modern remix of popular worship songs that folks around the world have been singing for years. Magellan was blessed to have many talented artists contribute to the project, such as Rachel Lampa, Tammy Trent, the group Palisade, Michael Neal, Ben Kolarick from Across the Sky, and Krissy Nordhoff as well as others. Magellan prays this new CD will inspire many across the globe to enjoy a new "spin" on some classic worship.
